Videogame Screenshot Megathread
In this thread you can post:
- Amazing screenshots from steam games
- Amazing screenshots from console games
- Other people's screenshots that you like*
There are several guidelines for posting in this thread. These are obviously not enforced, but you'll look like a real richard if you stretch the page and mess up everyone else's posts:
- Please, put (img width=600) and use the (url) tag to link to your raw image (with brackets instead of parenthesis). Other width dimensions are okay, but try not to exceed 1000px
- If someone breaks the above rule, PM them and tell them to change their image tag. I don't want to see my thread flooded with 150 posts telling people to change their tags.
- If your image is boring or uneventful, or if it looks like anything you would find on a teenager's image blog, do not post it.
- When quoting a post containing a screenshot, remove the image tag from your quote and substitute it with '-snip-' or nothing at all.
- Do not post camera photographs of your monitor. Take screenshots by pressing the Print Screen button and pasting your image into Paint. If you're using Mac OS X, press Apple-Shift-4 and select an image region. If you're using Steam, you can take a screenshot using F12. Nobody wants to see scanlines and your monitor's bezel in your screenshot.
Make sure to remember when posting that everything in this thread should still follow forum rules, so no nudity or dead babies. Blood and gore is fine as long as you're not deliberately trying to gross people out. L4D fight scene, okay. The morgue in Amnesia: The Dark Descent, not okay.
