I'm getting two of my teeth extracted tomorrow and another two next week for braces. Friggin' terrified haha

No thats honestly how I felt and they put these horrible things on the back of my teeth that cut up my tongue it hurts man

I had to get one of my teeth pulled out, I was probably as nervous as you are. He numbed my gum with a needle, the first one kinda pricked but the rest you couldn't feel at all. I had to ask my dentist if he was actually pulling them out because I couldn't feel a thing, there is absolutely no pain involved it just feels like the ground is shaking and you are wobbling a bit. It bleeds a lot but your gums will still be numb for about 20 - 40 mins. I actually bit my lip and had not noticed or felt that it was bleeding because you cannot feel it. Just keep a tissue because as disgusting as it sounds you drool and bleed a lot after it's happened.

I don't want to agree with her, but BubbaGum is right.
I had braces and now my mouth is a pit of scars. The wire ends are sharp and dig into your mouth. For the first couple months they mold and cut into your gums/inner lips. It sucks and is quite painful. Not to mention the plaster they use to keep the braces in place never fully comes off and causes tooth decay later. (But they don't tell you that now do they!) I swear to god, braces are the last legal torture. If you get the option GO INVISALIGN! No loving pain and you can take they on and off as you like.

As for the extractions, I'm sorry that you have to go through added misery before you have the braces put on.
I got lucky and did not need to have teeth pulled for them.

once I had to get stitches, and I kicked the doctor and he accidentally got a bunch of glue or something in my eye.

Brush teeth better. A root cbrown town is terrifying to me since they essentially kill everything alive inside your tooth. T-T
