Author Topic: Weapon Request: BB-Gun  (Read 2497 times)

Hey guys, I wanted to know if someone was willing to make a classic styled BB-Gun. What I'm really asking for is one with that classic look, the wood stock, the black barrel, etc. You know, like the "Red Ryder" rifle in "A Christmas Story"

How I'd like to see it work:
With every shot, there is a small animation, maybe the gun moving to the side a bit and the "Click sound" of a brick being planted, like G-Cat's default guns. The lever on the bottom would come out then back in again at the same time for each shot. Maybe after a bunch of shots the gun has a longer reload. Kind of complicated, NVM on that part.

So yeah, a simple, classic styled BB-Gun, with maybe about 10 damage (Maximum).

You'll shoot your eye out!

I might do it.

not sure
I'd appreciate it very much if you did :D

Hey guys, I was thinking, it doesnt have to have a complex level reloading thing, it can have that animation where the gun tilts a bit, and you hear the click of a brick planting and its reloaded, any one know what Im talking about?

It's from fallout 3, I just converted the model and put in-game lol.

Would you be willing to "Blockland-ify" it for me, Eepos? I would really appreciate it!

rip a model from any game, or download ripped one from a website, simplifily the model, aka lower the polycount, add joints make script and voila, imported weapon

its best to search online so you don't have to waste time, best to start off with n64 models, since they're already pretty low poly, and could be useful for starters

You'll also need special tool to convert the model.
