Cytheria21251 real day = 1 Cytherian yearIn 2055, scientists from the corporation CERN, who had recently found particles that travel FTL (Faster than Light), began development on FTL technology harnessing these particles. They eventually completed this, sending a metal husk with probing material inside with an FTL engine (which is only about the size of a SUV) to Pluto. The particles went faster than expected since they were sent in such large amounts. The pod arrived in 4 seconds. Eventually, a manned pod was sent to Mars. In less than a quarter of a second, the FTL craft crashed into the surface of Mars, tunneling a mile deep into its crust, revealing water in the process. The man was killed and the pod was reduced to ash, dust, and a small metal plate, which was reported by Mars Base 3, nearby the crash site. Russian, American and German spies began infiltrating CERN to acquire this technology. France simply used much of its recently acquired money due to the huge Californium deposit the French government had discovered. Since this CERN lab was based in Canada and funded by the Canadian government, they easily acquired FTL technology. The race for an FTL ship was on. Seven years later, in 2062, war brewed between the FTL powers. Canada and France allied, Germany and Russia allied, and the United States made a treaty with Canada and France. Four years into the war, the death toll was in the hundred millions. Nuclear weapons were on the brim of activation, and Canada had finished its first FTL ship. Brought into orbit by four rockets, the ship pointed towards a habitable planet, Cytheria, and launched forward, propelled by the
Maple Leaf I engine. The ship had 1,000,000 of Canada's best engineers, tacticians, soldiers, scientists and politicians. France followed, then the US, then Russia, then finally Germany, all settling in different locations on Cytheria. France and Canada merged, forming the Parisian Republic. The Canada-Paris Tower, resembling the Eiffel tower, was constructed to honor the new country. Peace was made on the new planet, but tension over a deposit of Californium between Germany and the US led to Russia absorbing Germany, forming the Northernlands. A war broke out between the two countries in 2118, and thousands died. Eventually, Parisian scientists launched a device from the Canada-Paris tower known as the Purge, which used a variation of the FTL technology to attack certain things, ripping them apart, and sent us back with the technology of about 2045. By now, in 2125, there were about 3 billion people on the planet. After the Purge, people broke apart from their root countries and formed their own, all stemming from the Northernlands, the United States and the Parisian Republic.

You can not:
1. Instantly start out as a super power, with WMD's.
2. Have any super laser weaponry stuff or travel light speed shuttles, we're not THAT far into the future.
3. Use real world leaders to represent your country IE: Riddler, Stalin, Bush, etc.
4. Have really stupid and handicapped named like "SUPERGUNNATION" or "MINECRAFTLAND". Be creative.
5. End a full-out war within the same day you started it.
6. Create stupid alien technology stuff about super powered weapons, invasions, first contact ect.
