You really shouldn't be using shotguns for airsoft unless you're doing backyard.

Or unless you have a trishot shotgun that is quality enough to use as a back up or for quick room clearing. Thats my opinion though..

A Well R4 is better for room clearing than a shotgun is.
Plus it's way more economical than a shotgun is.

I dont think he meant distance.
He probably meant that it won't get him anywhere and that he'll be out quickly.
