Metal?
Plastic?
plastic

and no they won't crack or shatter

Okay so I want to get this gun, but I was wondering what free gifts should I get that come with it. All I need are either goggles or bbs. What would be the best choices?
You should be able to get eye protection and mag with that

But all the goggles are over 1000, and the mags are also over 1000.

Great gun, Shell out the extra few dollars to get a higher quality version of it. I have the Full metal PDW with a reinforced gearbox. Cost me $225 and I don't have to worry about dropping it and breaking the shell.

Found my fast helmet!

no

not even the snipers? so no long range kills then. bummer
there is something called a hop up which causes the bb to spin backward, causing it to fly up
rifling to make a bb spin would cause insane amounts of inaccuracy

This. The hop-up adds a certain level of the right kind of spin to make the bb go out, then up, then back down instead of going out and falling to the ground at a short distance. With rifling there would be no predicting where the bb would go because it would put too much spin on it. You would shoot it in one spot and it could land right there or it could land 5 feet off to the right. lol

Its really annoying when your BB flies way off its target. Is there any way to play airsoft on a slightly windy day?
