Author Topic: Conservation officer shoots a doge to death.  (Read 2440 times)

Even if the dog was aggressive and started attacking him he could have just used pepper spray or a baton to knock it out (That could kill it though..) there was no need to shoot it 4 times. I don't know why everyone is saying "it's just a dog", even if it is you don't loving kill it, that's sick.

If a dog is going to attack me, I'm going to kill it.

If a dog is going to attack me, I'm going to kill it.

Are you loving stupid?

If a dog was going to kill me, and eat my insides, I would shoot it.

If a dog was going to try to attack me, I wouldn't feel bad about killing it.

For some reason when I saw the topic title, I was imagining

instead of a dog. silly me

a dog is basically an inanimate possible weapon. it dosnt get the "appropriate threat level response" that a person has the rights to.

dead is dead. even i would shoot to kill if a dog ran at me. i dont care how friendly intended. its pretty obvious anyways when a dog is running at you if it intends to bite or not.

Anyone remembe that video of that rabid dog in New York and it goes to bite a lady then lunges at the police office who proceeds to shoot the dog

Then some people are like you bastard you killed a dog and stuff like that

What the conservation officer saw:

What animal rights activists think he saw:

Yeah, I'm really skeptical right now.
The media bias here is thicker than a jar of honey and I still think I see enough dots to connect to call bullstuff on it.
In that "it's justified" not "it didn't happen"

And then what? Let him keep the dog that could have just tried to loving eat him?

animal lovers tend to believe animals = people.

well legally they are not. they dont have rights, they get no trial, they deserve no second thought. they are property, and in some cases a weapon. you can be charged for attempted murder for sending a dangerous enough dog at a person (with obvious intent).

anyone who disagrees, well it dosnt matter. thats not the issue with the article. thats an unrelated debate for another day.

Officer was a long-time conservation officer, had a sparkly clean record, and had plenty of official training, including aggressive animal response.
The dog has the master's word that she was "well-trained and never bit anyone."

Someone's probably pointed this out already but I'm too lazy to check. Just saying, weigh things here. :P
