Author Topic: Good free drawing applications on Android?  (Read 675 times)

I'm looking for a good, free drawing app for Android 2.0.2. I'm new to these phones, so I'm not sure how to find a good one. It is the only touch screen device I have besides my DS, and I expect drawing and such to work a lot better than that. I wanted to draw on it. Any suggestions?

I use sketchbook pro on my tablet, I'm not so sure how good it will work without a pen tho.

What kind of phone do you have? You should see if you can get Jellybean running on it

Isn't Jellybean a version of Android?

Well normal updating didn't do anything for it. Does it require doing some complex downloading and crap to install?

Skitch. I think that's the name... It's made by the same people that make Kik Messenger.

Skitch doesn't look like a drawing program, but I looked up Kik Messenger, then Kik Interactive as the maker, and found Sketchee. That's it, right?

For older phones you have to do more complex things to get better versions on them.

Skitch is made for Evernote.

It doesn't look like a drawing app. Also, trying Sketchee, it seems to only provide black and white. I kinda wanted to try drawing with shades of red and green.

I use SketchBook express, but it's only for 3.0 (Honeycomb) or later

Skitch is kind of like MS Paint for tablets.

Yeah, the site is automatically telling me it is incompatible.

Well what I saw when I looked up Skitch was something about showing pages to friends and circling important parts of the pages. o_o Weird.

You can start with a blank slate and just draw.
