I have a download speed of 15 or so MB. And steam though locks it down to 2.0MB, how do i force it up to like 10 MB? is it possible?
megabit is a speed of transfer. megabyte is an amount.
at least thats how its measured nowadays.
take that 15 megaBIT and / 8 = your max megaBYTES
15000 / 8 =
1.875 mb per second total for all internet use in the house.
and that dosnt even mean a website will always allow every user to use as much as they can at their location. they still may cap you off if they want.
