you know how when you go into 3rd person mode and there is no cross hair, bad for TDM because you cant aim well i have an idea,
its like the survivor (or what i think its called) where its kind of zoomed in in 3rd person , but you can aim

it can be good for a 3rd person TDM server


anyone???

Unless someone can implement a crosshair with this add-on then the point of a third person only shooter is pointless. I have yet to see someone add a crosshair.

I saw this a while back, from what I've heard, it's highly improbably and very glitchy to get a crosshair on a third person view because of how the camera is setup.

Nope.
When the player's vertical camera angle changes, the trajectory of any weapon changes.
So if there was a crosshair, it'd be going up and down all the time.

Well then I guess someone is just going to have to make a laser sight mod then.

Isn't it also possible to reduce the alpha of the head's and hat's colour to make it transparent only to the client?

No, that's not possible to do.

server sided cross-hairs that everyone can see by using short lasting particles and raycasts along with a player that forces third person at the right angle.
Would use the vector from the mountpoint 0 for the raycast
