go into the character creator, grab an image of a character as similar to what you want as you can.
then put it into a program like paint.net and edit it pixel by pixel.

already made mine, though there's a few things i'm going to fix up


also, i'm probably going to get rid of the character section for a starbound group op (because editing that table is annoying and there aren't many entries anymore anyways)

i just shifted the hue when i should have created the four shades of red to make it
it looks super orange right now so that was a silly attempt (at least the face shape is neat)
but before any of that you should give it some clothes
