and useful companions all the same!

Maybe you people should read the text, it clearly states they will be useful.

Also, maybe you don't care, but it says starter pets, you'll probably be able to tame/find new pets.
I kinda hope it's like in RotMG where they assist you in battle (healing/mana healing/low damage) and level up and stuff.
