ALL the races currently in the game are physical anthropod beings and ALL of them cater to a chosen human theme. Therefore making such suggestions makes perfect sense.

I did have an idea for some aloveual frog-men who  built golems out of gears and cogs that live on a swamp-like planet and refer to their machinery as a "Religion". They all have circuit board tattoos across their arms and face and are only left alive for their invention and continued patenting of replicators

I already have. like 3 times. But its not something i'd post for starbound because I have ideas on how to use them.

The problem is that instead of taking inspiration from Earth animals and cultures, they completely mimic them. If you just take small aspects from things and put them together you get something that works.
