Thats what all the races in Starbound are, silly.

Low Attack
Low Defence

Can Buff others
Can Heal others
Can Hover over hazards
Can Fall slowly

Also why does everyone care so much about the back story?
It's pick the race that suits you the best and go.
Not "look I have the best back story."

Not saying I don't care about the story.

Plus I bet most of the players are going to go "if it looks cool pick it"

IMO we need a support Race.

I dont think we need a race specifically for support. There will probably be medic tools for every race.
