Yeah, I noticed this. So far there's really not much ever going on underground. It's usually easier to just scout the surface and steal stuff from structures than mine and make it yourself.

Well I dont have to say it but i will: Starbound is still in beta, so its far from finished, so comparing it to a game that is fully finished is kinda dumb

Also, terraria is more "in depth" with worlds simply because you stay on one world. Starbound has lots of bland worlds with a stuffty underground because you can visit many different kinds of planets. Thats where you adventure in Starbound, where Terraria's main adventure aspect is revolved around the underground.

Any kind, really. But I've found it to be a rare occurrence on snowy planets.
