you can't build a really cool house and the space is limited, I mean all you'd be doing is going to the planet, getting resources and going to your ship to make them into things and repeat, doesn't sound too fun.

it's good to have a backup station on the ship, but a planet-based workstation is more efficient.

i seriously dont understand why anyone would ever make their base on a world

i mean you can set home to that world and travel blah blah blah but im pretty sure others and i use 'set home' just to set to the most interesting recent planet we found and our 'home' will change every couple of days
