It actually bothers me a lot that nobody's actually discussing the game, they're just whining about sucky communication and lack of updates

what is there to discuss?
its a alpha game with very little complete to it and the devs decided instead of making it better lets just muck around and get no work done at all.

There's almost nothing to discuss that isn't criticism. The planets feel samey as hell, mobs are uninspired and also very samey, the races are identical, stores are useless, underground is boring, and the progression is grindy and stuff. The only fun you will find in this game is if you mod it and play with friends.
