Do you even know what the nightly builds are?
Worthless and unusable to people who just want to play the game?

Do you even know what the nightly builds are?

Scarcely stable updates and has a remarkable tendency of breaking stuff. Used to track development progress. Is not a stable update, which was the point I was trying to make.

They are working on stuff. I don't like the devs either but if you're just gonna spew out bullstuff then I suggest you shut up and leave.

You're misinterpreting what I'm saying. I'm saying that they have not released any stable content updates in two months. Which is a pretty piss-poor job all things considered. Nightlies are for tracking progress, not for actual gameplay. They are not updates, they are "hey go see what we're doing right now also stuff's going to break." When there isn't a stable update for two months, something is seriously wrong.

To think that this game was going to be awesome.

To think that this game was going to be awesome.
it could've been man
it could've

i wanted to be a space pirate and get all of the floran booty i can get but then i get this stuff

Maybe they should be actually transparent about that instead of going "hey look shiny stuff" or "oh look at our new dog" or "lol i trole u with the horse"
Spoonfeed you working updates: "lol this game is so boring!!! updates are sooo slow!!!"
Be transparent: "lol this game is fukin dead"
Don't be transparent: "wow shouldnt they work on the things i want right now instead of tuning up all the framework???"

I know they've done some stupid stuff, but if you look passed that, you guys are still loving impossible to please. Above things, to my knowledge, are in order.

you guys are such pissbabies like "omg the game is ruined because they havent updated the game that is already decent only in its beta in two months rip starbound you were going to be literally the greatest video game ever until the devs had to troll us with that horse" like seriously what the hell

They're just really bad at public relations

it's not even just that they haven't released any working content, it's that the devs/mods are a total mess and are incapable of handling any criticism

i have to agree with this though

starbound needs a more mature dev team basically.

hell i bet we could be better at public stuff than them.

Imagine if badspot bought starbound and gathered the best programmers int he community.

This situation kinda reminds me of Cube World's: Wollay/Pixxie are being slow, and people are angered. But according to this(This may or may NOT be the right link but I don't know), the two were trying to find a new apartment or workplace to hire new developers. The only difference here is that the dev's ARE doing nothing real here. It's worrying me greatly.

we would get 20 new updates then nothing else.

They promised fast updates. Have there been any significant updates since the release date at all? The game in its current state is not okay, the developers are total manbabies who cannot handle criticism and developers are leaving every month or so. With all the stuff they showed before the beta was released, I was very excited. What I got was an unfinished mess that was fun for about one hour.

Seriously, the game right now is not fun without mods. The game isn't 100% ruined yet but with all the nonsense that has been happening over the past month or so, I fear for this game's future.
