Or an illegal human population living in underground bunkers, and a highly advanced native culture immune to the acid, who want the humans gone. Since the humans can't fight the natives out in the open due to their disadvantage, they have to resort to guerrilla warfare and mechs.

That sounds like a great plot for a machinima. Although i'm not sure how a machinima would work in a 2d game.

i think i might make some team of six people, possibly including people from the blf, where each person is a different race. i want to record footage of this game as soon as possible after it comes out, and because the npcs react differently to different races, i think it would make for some interesting gameplay.

in fact all macs have much better processors than my computer
