whenever i go into avian temples there's always statues of bunny people.
any backstory on them?

are they a race that lived along side the avians ?
are they an extinct race?
are they a hint at a new race?

To an avian, a bunny is a symbol of a grounded creature, and having a tomb marked with one is a shame reserved for criminals and heretics, who will spend their afterlife confined to the ground and hopping like a bunny. I love the inspect tool.

You know, you don't have to be saying goodbye to your characters. Remake them with the same name and appearance, then pretend you lost all your stuff Metroid-style in a ship crash. Coping 101.

Yeah you posted while I was typing mine, and I don't do that copy-paste the message thing.

I never built a house or base, my ship could have been put together better anyway, my starter planet sucked, the only weapons I particularly liked are way below me in level, armor was crafted, clothing was sold by every one of the dozen clothes merchants I've passed, and does anyone really feel concerned about losing their money? Bring on the update.

also i have an active imagination so i thought wouldn't it be cool if your person just stepped into a little machine to change characters or maybe when one falls asleep the other wakes up and i need sleep

I kept dying so I lost alot of money.

That's the irony of this system. The inability to keep your pixels safe is intended to make death have meaning. In reality it just makes me not care about risks at all because eventually my money hits an equilibrium where traversing a planet for a minute or so and killing everything that attacks me is enough to cancel out the penalty. If I need to craft or buy something, I can up it to killing everything I pass while traversing a relatively easy world, and soon I have enough.
