Long ago, roughly 140 years before the invention of space travel, there was an enormous fandom of a particular human entertainment show called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The fandom was called the bronies, and they were spread far and wide. One year in 2034, a few years after the show ended, a group of brony scientists built a machine that could infuse magic (Actually just a poorly-understood energy) into a human, and at the same time invented a machine capable of giving a semi-pony form to humans. The machine wouldn't, however, allow a complete transformation due to high risks and a lot of deaths, so the ponies that were created were bipedal, and certain features. This was fine for them, however, and within a decade all known bronies were transformed.

A huge reaction with the rest of the world, built up over several years, led to an brutal uprising against bronies and ended with them flying off into space on several large starships, the first of their kind.

If you don't see anything wrong with that monumental pile of ass I'd have to question if you've spent too much time amongst self-pitying furries. The creators of Starbound clearly put a lot of time and effort into their game and the lore - it's particularly interesting despite the game not being story driven at all. And then you have this, which spits in the face of all of that. There's nothing wrong with liking a god damn show but stop sticking your richard into every little game just to show off how much you like it, there are places it doesn't belong.

yeah I read it. it's dumb. but who gives a stuff?? it's a mod and you don't have to use it. the developers don't give a damn, if they did, you wouldn't be able to mod the game

ffs stop editing this post. that's not important. the point is you're mad about something that doesn't even begin to affect you. you literally don't have to see the mod ever again in your entire life, and if by whatever chance you do, you can easily leave whatever place it is you see it
