Every time someone expresses their displeasure about all of Starbound's broken promises Tiy just writes it off as them being "trolls" or "toxic people" before going back to his blissfully ignorant fanbase

I haven't read into the situation, but I have a feeling that it wasn't just one dev who went full handicap, but rather several varying actions by various devs that have disappointed the, well, non-ignorant fanbase.

Am I correct?

people have been crying because of the lack of ingame updates because theyre too lazy or ignorant to read the blog that is updated almost daily with sneak peeks of new contents and some other stuff, that and, well, the fact that they relocated the entirety of their team to one place, which was also good

this is why chucklefish souldnt have let themselves be coerced into releasing an early access beta, people just dont deserve this sort of stuff

By the look of things Tiy isn't even really all that involved with development. I think he just has his name stamped in the 'owner' position so he can rake in cash, dish out orders, etc. But hey, what do you expect from a publisher at heart? I really hope he doesn't run the game into the ground.
