Maybe it's a longer process to get those taken down? Like a takedown request instead of just "boop it's gone"

That whole thread is a clusterforget. The devs are pulling out enough evasive maneuvers to put on a loving air show, and the blowhard fanboys keep lapping that stuff up. Just look at this stuff:

There seemed to be a different sound in the horn when i brought up Starbound as one of the abandoned early access games in the Project Zomboid thread.

It's not abandoned, but it's sure as hell stagnating compared to the "thick and fast" updates from earlier in the beta. I believe its current state is about exactly what "Development Hell" is.
And for what it's worth I really hope CF can get their stuff sorted out and turn this situation around, but I really can't see it happening as long as they continue to be dishonest with the community.

Please tell us which one. There are so many failed Early Access games at this point that you need to clarify that further.

Last time i heard they were working on some big update that would fix everything.

yeah i hope they get it sorted out, too. starbound had a ton of potential and i was eager to see what the devs might add to it.

You didn't even quote the best stuff.

"lol you guys act so entitled bla bla bla you bought the game you can't just go buy madden and ask who worked on it"

Which is funny. Because not only did we buy an early-access game, expecting all the features we were promised will come, but madden is also a complete game AND includes credits to the entire staff.
While most of this was words of the dev-riding community, the devs agree with this bullstuff.

Then there's the ignored ordeal about the guy who didn't buy early-access. He pre-ordered the game. In like 99% of cases you can refund a preorder, as you don't have the promised game yet. Apparently Starbound is an exception. The devs are likely treating this pre-order as an 'early-access purchase'.

Oh it'll be finished. Probably in 2016. And a lot worse than we all expected it to be.

are acting pretty stuffty

what the forget is with this "loaded question" bullstuff?

they're pretty valid forgetin' questions that deserve some valid forgetin' answers

honestly the only thing that seems loaded is the amount of bullstuff in their staff
