How long do you host before you give up?

5 mins. Loljk, I usually just fool around in the server until someone joins and more people join... I got up toa full server when I hosted a stuffty WWII Army RP...

I have the patience to host long. I also have a lot of ideas and can build decent. Too bad my internet is stuffty. Everyone will end up spiking. Bahahaha oooh man ...  I wish I could host.

Pecon7's is a pretty good server.

It get's boring after a while
also since being the boss is the only fun part for me
and it takes like 5 minutes for you to respawn and sitting
around twiddling your thumbs isn't very fun

Well for one, maps were a source of good servers, I know we can still host good servers, not saying shaders ruined everything.

My internet got a little like that too but it stopped a few weeks ago when I did some re-wiring up in the computer room of my house. Now I have it so that this 5GHZ router which is too strong for most computers gives strong internet to my old router, which enables me a better connection and full HD videos without 5 minute waits. For hosting servers I don't need to have much patience because many people do the alphabetical order list which, in most cases, brings my server up to the top because of the A at the start and the B second.

Honestly, I fully support this, the quality of servers has gone down quite a bit.
I am going to think about building a TDM. Not one of those handicapped like 1x1 spammy ones. I am going to use good effort at the map, choose weapons right, ect.Not now though. I am going to be making a video.

It's funny, having played the game for a while. These threads were made since I've been here (probably since the dawn of the game), and they'll continue long after I quit (if I do).

Instead of complaining, go make your own server if you don't like what's available.

That's not easy. Some people like me doesn't have the internet capabilities of hosting a server, or doesn't have money for paying for a dedicated server, or just some other reason, like being on a phone posting this or something, and you can't really play blockland on a phone.
