Is Far Cry 2 worth it?

I've been looking at Far Cry 2 and I'm kind of impressed, I really love the vehicle and the nice sand box feel.

It's a nice game but it gets a bit repetitive. All the outposts you liberate are occupied when you return to them so you have to liberate them every time you come through one.

it's far cry 3 without the creativity or quality stealth, and basically its only redeeming feature was the mini-map.

Also prepare to go on the other side of the world because the devs didn't know how to fill the giant gap of interesting gameplay hours the game is missing.
