Lowing the wages of those people who spend their entire lives making entertainment for you == immoral.

Lets imagine that the executives of a business aren't the most terrible people in the world, and will cut their salary along with everyone else's when the business loses money. Well, the CEO still makes 7+ figures and you haven't harmed him at all really, even if he makes 30% less. But all of the people who work for him also take a huge pay cut. Now they decide that they will stop making games and get into the more profitable industry of making piracy prevention software. You haven't hurt the big bad CEO at all, but all the people who are trying to make the world fun give up.
