then don't post controversial stuff?
How exactly is this controversial?
Most of us are atheists, the rest are very moderate christains.

we have some more conservative christians

I guess I'm a 'conservative Christian' and I still laugh at the 'where is your god now' jokes and jokes like this;

So I believe the controversy between religious stuff and irreligious stuff is caused by atheists with big heads, and devout Christians, which if were really devout, wouldn't argue over what was correct.

Nearly there.

It's caused by the dumb narrow-minded stubborn x religion that give all other x religion a bad name and the people who are equally as dumb, narrow-minded, and stubborn whose beliefs conflict with the aforementioned x religion follower's. Not specifically atheist.

Also, the website solves its problem in the first sentence on the first page with actual information relevant to the argument.

In his book, Darwin never mentioned the origin of life.

Well, there you go. Your traditional outdated creationism is safe. We can move on now, right? Of course not.

Things like this are what's holding humanity back. I may not be entirely nihilist, however this is the main occasion where I truly believe the person's life has no intrinsic value. The would would benefit if these people had never existed.

Nevertheless it's at least good to get perspective.

reminds me of the "proof of god is the banana" video despite the banana being cultivated over centuries and centuries by humans to the perfect form

The #1 point creationists never seem to understand is:

evolution != abiogenesis

Even if science never answers the question of the origin of life and gives up on it, it doesn't affect the truth of evolution.

Atheists can be just as ignorant about this crap too.

Not as common, but the vibe I'm getting from your post is that all athiesm is good and religion is "baaad"!

Just wanted to put out there that some Christians actually believe in both creationism and evolution, intertwining the two, and don't just deny it instantly

Another thing that people need to understand is that Darwin didn't create the theory of evolution, and furthermore his ideas could be completely refuted and it would not have any effect on the theory of evolution.

no i was not saying that at all. that's why i said "not specifically atheist"

i specifically worded it to not give off that 'vibe', i am one of those christians lol (christian agnostic is a better term, but w/e)

And he was outright wrong on some things.

Yeah, I personally believe that god did set evolution in motion. I'm fine with any other religion, as long as they don't constantly shove
"Oh you believe in god you're handicapped go forget yourself bitch"
all in my face.

Oh you believe in god you're handicapped go forget yourself bitch

at this point it's plain ignorance if you don't believe evolution.
With the ease of access to information these days, there's no excuse for being ignorant. Most people who are ignorant, are remaining so deliberately; they're not just ignorant, they are, in my opinion, stupid.

Oh you believe in god you're handicapped go forget yourself bitch

My teacher shut me down in saying Darwinism is the only logical origin of man, I got pissed because of all of the other religions who thought differently.
