Author Topic: Otterbox Armor Series - Waterproof, Drop proof, Dust proof and Crush proof!  (Read 4761 times)

I have a regular gummy silicon case thing. It glows in the dark and was like 2 dollars.

i dont like cases. they add bulk.
i just pay the 2 dollar a month insurance on my bill to trade in my phone whenever i scratch it up to much.

that would be the cost of 48 bucks by end of contract. and i would have grabbed myself at least 1 brand new free phone during that time.

What carrier do you have?

These things are jesus level life savers. I can't tell you how many times I've knocked my phone off my desk drawing.

what does waterproof up to 6.6 feet even mean
if it's tested under 2 tons of pressure, then 6.6 feet of water on top of it shouldn't crush it.

the watertight seal probably breaks at 6.6 feet

I have has the iPad since 1st gen, and buy a new one every year. The only case I trust on it is otter box.

So it costs maybe $8 to manufacture...
If you're only considering the cost of the materials, please never run a business.

I'm sorry you feel the need to bomb-proof your phone. If you want I can link you to a case dealer that makes 50. BMG proof cases.
um
lol
I mean that I don't like the way it feels, but ok, whatever you say

I've seen these things before. Damn they're strong.

This is the one I have:

Pretty durable, unclips to fit into docks. It was worth 20 bucks where I got mine.

i think glueing the phone to a brick would provide enough defense

Needs explosion proof and fire proof
