For me I'll have to say Mac.

It's quicker, their computers are a lot more durable, you don't contract viruses at all, they last a lot longer than Microsoft computers, it's easier to use, and they rarely malfunction. I've had my iMac for 8 years now and still works perfectly. I've had 12 PC desktops in the past 5 years, 11 have broke down already and don't work at all. My only PC that is still working is a Dell (it's my dads computer but it's very slow now, it's always been slow and takes an hour to boot up while my brothers Macbook Pro from 2010 only takes ~25 seconds to boot up). Apple's customer service is a lot better too, since Microsoft charges you 5-10 bucks per every few minutes if you'd like to speak with their customer service, while with Apple it's free of charge. Also the Mac App Store is handy too, so lets say I wanna get Microsoft Word, I can get it in the Mac App Store for 20 bucks, while on my PC it'd cost 200. Apple in my opinion is a lot more worth it, it's expensive, but worth it.

PC and mac, just because they were the first Operating systems I ever played with

i love pc its the best os out there

Where the forget are people getting this "macs dont get viruses" bullstuff

windows because i dont ever want to hit a brick wall when wanting to be able to do ANYTHING on earth.

Where the forget are people getting this "macs dont get viruses" bullstuff
because there are not as many viruses out there for mac as there are for windows.

i personally just hate the mac's interface. too much flashy animated bullstuff + that round buttons thing. not really something major but it just annoys me a lot.

windows is pretty cool, i mean, probably most applications are developed for windows, and it's probably one of the easiest most stable operating systems out there. almost never had a problem with it. it's nice, attractive, and has a nice level of customization and personalization.

linux, so far, despite all of the problems i've been having recently, has been my favorite. it's just a completely open development platform that you can do whatever the forget you want to and with it. with linux, you can have it look however the hell you want, quite literally, with no limitations in customization, and it runs a hell of a lot faster too. linux is also surrounded in a nice community of like-minded developer types who i find just the most charming type of people, and even with a million and a half problems, there's a solution to everything.

however i blame most of these problems on my curious self, so that point is irrelevant. with the speed, customization, ease of deployment, heavy programming/scripting development support, and it's price of absolutely nothing, linux takes the cake for me.

I like windows better, my new laptop takes 10 second at the most to boot up.
I've had a windows desktop that was older then my Mac and it was quicker at booting up.
It took at the most a minute, while the Mac took 15.
While the Mac G5 was good, it lagged horribly, even though it had 4 gigabytes of ram, and a dual PowerPC 1.9GHz.

I have yet tried Linux, Wanted to but can't figure out how to use it without getting rid of Windows.

mac and linux are both pcs

everything else > Mac

my custom rig stuffs all over any mac

I use a mac, but I like both equally for different reasons

pretty sure there's a windows installer for most distros that matter. if not, you could just make a separate partition for it.

but if you're fine with windows i wouldn't even bother; linux isn't really for everyone.

^this, lol
