The man would smile, "Ah, the Zaovans!  My mistake, my friends!  Come, come, please!  Our home is yours, so long as there are no hostilities!"

The man says in reply, "Thank you, my friend."  He reaches out a hand, holding out a small sack of money containing 50 gold  coins of the old Raovenian Empire.  "Will this do?"

The man shakes his head, "Please."  he says simply.

The dwarves, with their excess supplies and time decide to build a giant stone statue of Aule to honor him.

The mithril veins are beginning to peter out. Normal silver veins are still plentiful in Har.

Work begins on a road to the sea after diplomacy with the men of the south went well and the decision to build the road was accepted on all sides.

The man shakes his head, "Please."  he says simply.
(Was that sarcastic?)

"No, no.  You must take it, I insist.  For your well-being."

Elves... great friends, poor businessmen :)

The road form Avalonia to the Princedom of Telar (the men the Avalonian dwarves are associated with) is complete. Trade begins in earnest.

Gold has been discovered in Mt. Kra which is located just outside current Avalonian territory. A preliminary expedition team has been sent ahead to prepare the mountain for excavation, habitation, and conquest if that is necessary for annexation to occur.

Work begins on two more tunnels; both go from Kra, one to Av, one to Har.

The man continues to deny the money.

"Very well."

"Where may we stay?"

uh, wayholt is just kinda sitting there going "herp derp nothin to do"

"Inside, please, follow me."  The man then climbs the stairs into the temple, disappearing behind the doors.

New tunnels 29%, Kra settling 40%.

No resistance to the dwarves' expansion on Kra, all goes well.

The dwarves are doing pretty well, no huge issues.

Just remember, so long as there is no hostile intent you will not disturb the golem.

The dwarves are almost never hostile unless acted against or there's profit to be made. They wish for no quarrel with any being until it wrongs them.

You may also make note that when the dwarves accidentally mined into the golem a tad, they stopped when they realized their mistake and left someone behind to talk peace should it awaken.
