Bump?

Dwarf army halfway.

The emissary is welcomed by our foreign affairs minister, who is an elf. It shows the emissary how left-wing the government is. (alliance accepted)

The King's soldiers also begin mingling with dwarves.

The dwarf ambassador isn't over-awed by how leftist the Tsardom is (in this age, I'm guessing anything short of an orwellian nightmare is underwhelming), but is polite and enjoys the company of the minister, sending him some dwarf mead.

The dwarf army takes well to that of the Tsardom as well. The dwarves begin to teach the men German and make their own attempts to learn Russian as well. As with the minister, the mead flows freely in the off-duty.

Army mead reserves at 97%.

I'd be a lot happier with a bully full of mead.

Umm...
Thats nice...

A wandering human wanders off into the direction of Eszutia and doesn't return.

A crazed and drunken man from the tsardom...

...dies when the curse of the vengeful gods of old Eszutia strike him down on the spot.  (Don't worry, they don't discriminate.  How do you think millions of Zaovans were killed when Old Raovenia was betrayed?)

Dwarf Army reaches the 3/4 point. At this point, spies, scouts, saboteurs, &c are almost constantly flowing between the camp and the mountains. The orcs seem to be unaware of the army's presence due to some weak conjuring on the part of some man wizards attached to the army, who dislike orcs and have made the eyes of the enemy inherently wander away from the army; only works on a large scale though, individuals are much more easily spotted.

As the army moves forward, it gains steam from people of various races plagued by the orcs, hoping to rid themselves of the menace.

The dwarf army quickly captures its ancient capitol as few orcs were there defending it, as spies had predicted.

A larger dwarf force attacked the main orc stronghold in the mountains, resulting in a total rout of the orcs, who were caught unawares and drunk (it seems that the orcs were celebrating a full moon and the summer solstice being on the same day). The dwarves have sustained moderate losses, though the body count shows that upwards of five times as many orcs were killed in battle, and ten times as many are suspected of being wounded, with as many captured (and executed or given as slaves to the humans, don't know if the Tsardom will spring for that, but the door's open). Spies report that thousands of orcs are already fleeing through the plains west of the mountains and those that remain are rallying at the orc capitol in these mountains.

Not many humans have died so far, the majority of friendly casualties have been among the vanguard dwarves.

The dwarf army finishes with its conquests after one final huge battle which included the total annihilation of the orc presence in the western mountains. The dwarves celebrate on their piles of loot and begin to rebuild their ancient cities.
