but they really do suck
Reddit copied me. I've stopped buying from EA after they introduced SECrom, the last thing I purchased from them was Command and Conquer 3. Later in 2010 they ruined the franchise by taking out base building and resource gathering and created population caps and ruined the story, they made red alert 3 softcore research. In 2009 I was pissed when EA made Battlefield 1943 a console exclusive. Anyway now days you have day1 dlc which adds content that should be in the game from the start, or dlcs for around 25 dollars which give you a few guns a few maps. Expansion packs back in the day gave you a ton of content that was the equivilant of a new game.

Only people i know of who still go by the "In the old days..." style is Bethesda and perhaps some other companies I've not heard of.

theres an endgame map on battlelog with 22 people in it and it says missing game content after loading for a bit :(

I like Bethesda, they at least try not to ba jackasses.

Bethesda is very close to falling into the EA room. If you compare Skyrim and Morrowind, you can clearly see that the games have gotten way easier to attract more simpler audiences who can't think for themselves.

lol which is 80% of the the general audience.

There is no room for the players imagination anymore. Everything seems to be created for you in games. Sheesh, that would suck if the real world was like that too; all of the unknown would be possible and Iphone 9,645,564 would finally be the last version to come out capable of doing anything(with no bugs!).

When you miss such times like these, just look back at the original Fallout or any Elder Scrolls game before Oblivion.

Origional Fallout was awesome. My dad was pc gamer back in the 1990's and showed me all these old games when I was 6. Anyway I miss 1942 at times and how you could be an engineer and throw 4 bombs at a tank and kill it.

where

its not the winter one or the desert one
its on the very edge of the map almsot out of bounds

2143 easter egg on one of the new maps

That would be fine if I could trust DICE/EA to not forget up 2143.

2142 was one of my favorite games, I hope 2143 is on that list aswell, but you know, EA is EA.
