Google ruined Youtube.

Even with a high-speed internet connection and an awesome computer, videos only buffer the next few seconds then stop.  Buffering also doesn't work while paused, and the advertisements have to buffer as well.

I also hate how it recommends me the most ridiculous videos based on what I've looked at before.  Not based on what I've liked, as I've disliked a ton of stuff... nooo, what I've viewed.

Out of those five, I'd say YouTube is my most favorite.

The search function never gets my searches right ('did you mean "hurricane"/"arachnoid"/are type"?'), YouTube has degenerated into a piece of stuff only staying alive because so many people use it, I trust my privacy on Google Fiber about as far as I can throw Larry Page and nobody uses anything else.

I suppose Earth is alright for bird's-eye views of cities/mapping your travel route.

You could rearrange your subscribers, videos, news, comments, etc along with change the colors, background and stuff like that.

No it didn't, some ISP's throttle youtube and streaming in general. Never have I had a problem with youtube if my internet connection was working fine.

Designing some small website nobody uses is a lot different than designing a site used by millions. Not saying it could be changed but his qualifications don't mean anything when compared to youtube.
