The lag in roblox was due to the weight bricks had on the game/system or whatever. Roblox recently released a new physics system called "Impulses" versus the old "laggy physics" called springs.

The community and the administration.

As far as I know they took out the ability for roblox servers to communicate with the internet and to save data to their servers, so there's no way to keep progress in a Roblox server.

The people on it are terrible on ROCRAP. It's worse than you describe.
