Getting past the whole social thing and stuff, I don't see a problem with it. If it's your choice to get your GED and finish highschool, then go to a community college and transfer as an undergrad, then do it. I personally know 2 close friends who have done that, though they did it as Juniors at 16 and 17 respectively. It was much easier for them to get a job at that age, where as you might have a problem (if you even need one).
