Author Topic: Is a onplayerchangedatablock event possible?  (Read 1409 times)

For something I am wanting to do, this would be very useful. You would apply it to the spawn, and then it can effect from player, client, minigame, brick, all that jazz. I am just wondering if it's possible.

OnPlayerChangedDatablock?
Uhh...
Why not just use OnActivate again or something? I really don't think this could work...

Probably is but what advantages could it offer

I don't really understand what you mean by this... Do you mean if an event is triggered by being a certain data block?

Please give us a more detailed example of why you want this. I'm quite sure this is unnecessary as you could simply do the events you want when you change the player datablock in the first place.

It might become slightly convoluted depending on the situation, but that may be less convoluted than making a whole new event for it. At least for the mod-maker anyways

how would you trigger this?
Proximity?

100% possible..
if you know what you want to trigger a brick with

trigger all bricks that have the event

maybe trigger the brick the player spawned with?

I might make this. Seems interesting.

What? It's not hard at all.

It's possible and pretty easy, but
