I can understand completely the disposition the feel like you've got the whole world figured out at 16. I felt the exact same way. I almost feel that way now, and probably would if I didn't have the ability to step back, look to the past and say "in five years I'm going to think myself now a fool".

It's not an absolute, but you have to realize that time will prove yourself wrong on this one.

as far as love goes, I can't say for sure about age or loveuality having or not having an effect. since it differs I guess. personally I think a straight guy could just as easily love another guy as he could a girl. I mean, when it comes to love, there's an obvious problem. but still
but I honestly believe that distance, and especially what fandoms you're in are completely irrelevant

I thinks it's just like, "I think I was stupid then, so I must be smart now"
and I'm not trying to, whatever, blame anyone specifically
everyone's guilty of it at some point
but looking back on everything, I always think "god that was so stupid, why did I say that?"
so I think of it that way, that I know I'll think I was being stupid, so I hopefully don't ever feel like I'm actually educated, when it comes to things like morality and emotions
