Author Topic: Should I pursue this relationship?  (Read 5338 times)

Recently I have noticed this girl in my band class is flirting with me. Playful touch, staring at me, saying "awwww" whenever I cough, etc. (She sits right next to me by the way.) I have now realized that I actually have feelings for her too. I'm not afraid to say that this is the first time I've ever been in a situation where a girl I like clearly likes me back. I would have asked her out already if it weren't for one issue: She's fifteen and I'm turning eighteen in five days.

So my question to you horribly honest people is this: wat do?

Edit: Another inherent issue is that her family is extremely religious, adding still to the problem.

oh man
she's uh
whatever the opposite of a cougar is
oh man!

You're asking a bunch of confused and loveually frustrated teenagers the best course of action in pursuing a love interest.

Just think about that for a second.

And btw: Age of consent in California is 18, so forget about it completely.

Three years is a lot at that age, but not much of anything, later in life!

So, y'know, if you know you'll be together for a long time, go for it.

This fact was not lost on me when making the thread, however this community is really the only one I can turn to for questions like this. Sad, I know.

IIRC 18 is legal adulthood, which means having a relationship with someone who is 17- is illegal.

if you have facial hair of any sort, shave it

put copious amounts of gel in your hair and slick it back

then pursue relationship

I don't see why not.

It varies by state. It's between 16 and 18.

Still don't see why not.

The issue isn't really that I might get jail time, it's moreover my concern for her well being. If I were the reason that she was looked down upon by her piers, teachers, and parents... I don't think I could ever forgive myself.

horribly honest mode activated

she flirting with you does not automatically = she like you
she flirting with you might = she like how you look

Same goes for how you look at her. Until your sure both of you like each other for more than just looks, I don't think it would be worth pursuing anyways

lol dude if you honestly think her parents will press charges she better be one hot loving 15 year old

Read: Don't do it

smash her 15 year old virgin p$$y

get to third base, or if youre lucky a home run. then tell her it was a one time thing
