Well, Statutory. That's not too bad.
You would still be put on the national love offender list.

Sort of reminded me of this.

If you don't have love, I don't think its actually illegal to have a relationship, but you never know.

Nope, too young, also probably a new feeling, probably not that much in common, either, friendzone4life

Ultimate tactic:
One in the pink, the other in the stink

This just looks like the case of the "cute older guy", I see it happen often, younger girls are dated by older guys. Guys do it for the girls and girls do it cause they think they'll get something, in the end I've just seen complete messes, it's not worth it, just not the right age and time. Give it some time and maybe you can look to it, otherwise if I were you I'd lay low, keep a stable friendship (note: don't get to close still), and still be nice.

It's a tough question, that's all I could really get out of it.

There are seniors dating freshman at my school.

Anyways, I have liked someone for 3-4 years and I know they like me back, but im too scared to ask :/

Gonna have to say no.
One: girls go ape stuff when all the guys date a grade or two down, cause then tat leave girls in your grade lonely
Two: my ex was dating a college sophomore (we're highschool juniors) and it didn't work out at all. Purely loveuall. The maturity difference an inability to compare classes an what not can be frustrating.

That and when she mentioned having love with him it was just forgetin weird cause he's like 20 and she's 16...

Don't do it
Nova
Negatory
Access denied
Do not pass go
Do not collect $400

It'd have to be a pretty long term relationship

Law wise, just don't have love until she's sixteen and you'll be all good.
I think it's acceptable that you want to go out with her

There is absolutely no problem with her being 15 and you 18. In fact, almost all successful relationships I've seen have had that similar age gap.

Just because your dad might be 45 and your mom is 42, doesn't mean that's chill at our age.
What if a high schooler was dating a middle schooler? Not weird at all I suppose. I mean, if the OP is in love; love is love. So love. Otherwise, an age gap of 3 years... Ehhhh... My parents are 10 years apart, and they hardly get along.

OP, if you and your lady friend are like the Romeo and Juliet of our time, then go for it. Cops won't bust down your door if you two have love privately, just don't rape her or piss her off... Then she can press charges, provided she has proof. critical edit: if your not sure if she feels the same way about you...But if your not sure, either bring it up, or tease her: play footsies, goofily say "I love you" (her response to something like that is critical. Facial expression is also a key part)

Pick a flower for her. If she's a friend, she'll say "awh thanks OP your so sweet", or potentially "its so pretty oh my gosh thank you your so great blabbity blabbity bla." and then hug you.

Best of luck tiger woods OP.

forget her now forget her now forget her now

I'd go for it, but keep it on the down low and don't be physical in public. Age of consent technically only applies to loveual activities, so as long as you just hang(and keep that where no one else will notice) you should be bueno.

She in band class...is she hot? I never heard of any hot chicks in band class.
