Author Topic: Blockland Forums Malware/Fraud Warning  (Read 2091 times)

I just tried to connect to the Blockland Forums and Opera told me the website has been blacklisted for fraud and then for malware. I joined anyway, but can anyone else with Opera confirm this happening?

I use opera on my phone to browse forums sometimes and this never happens.

It isn't sometimes it is now.

A browser that has a malware blacklist is actually pretty awesome, until someone abuses it. EDIT: Except this doesn't even use people reporting, it uses a site that actually scans other sites for malware.

EDIT: And it looks like it just happened for everyone using Opera.

um
have you tried the "Why was this site blocked?" option yet?
or any way to know what specifically has the warning?

use chrome

Holy stuff It did it to me too

Chrome was spitting out malware warnings when I visited a couple really old threads because of a couple pictures.

But notice that Opera says that it was "reported for distributing malicious software". That could mean all sorts of things.

stop using stuffty browsers?
>Opera
>stuffty

OT: I just instantly ignored it, like I always do for this site.
