Gmod Problems

I didn't really know where to put this so ill just plop it here.
Today, I was playing Gmod single player, when the game suddenly crashed. When I reopened it, all my addons and maps were deleted. Including all the tf2 maps. I also cant re-download any of the addons, or download new ones. It tells me it downloaded, but then it doesnt say I have any addons in game.
This is really bugging the stuff out of me, because I cant have ANY addons anymore, and I need help with this.

1. Yesterday, which is when I made the topic
2. I had all the Valve games mounted. All of them.
3.Everything is verified.

Fallout 3 has had problems like this for me as well. My save files go away and get replaced with a generic man, with equal stuffty stats across the board in front of the vault.
