On such a small scale, it's tough to not be sometimes.
It could be more brick-efficient though.

couldn't get other examples but Kiwibear's private mini empires has really nicely detailed small-scale builds.
it's possible, you just need good brickpacks and the skill to fit detail on such a small scale.
