Lets say, if you stubbed your toe on the street, have you ever felt that feeling, that it goes numb for a second?

"I stubbed my toe"
"this is gonna hurt"
1 second later
"OWOWOWOWOWOWOW"

or when you put your finger or hand under hot water, it goes numb and then you get the burning feeling?

Wat no
I feel instantly

I've never stubbed my toe because I never leave my computer chair.

why is there blood all over my leg
holy forget my brains

It's basically the same thing if a chunk of your skin rips off. The real pain comes the next day, or a couple hours later

Every time I come out of my room I end up stubbing my toe on the hallway shelf, it's one of the worst pains I deal with on a daily basis.

I've never stubbed my toe because I never leave my computer chair.

Usually for me it's quick, instant pain, then it goes away a few seconds later.

This.

One time, I was running to the bathroom, there was like this metal part sticking out of the floor/bottom of the door frame.

Like that, but metal and pointier.
When I was picking up my foot, the upper portion of my foot got teared by the pointier part of it, then proceeded to stab into my foot as I tried to continue running since I didn't feel it at first.
First time I had to get stitches ever.

I feel it immediately, but one second later, I feel the worst of it.

the Iast time I stubbed my toe I bled a lot, but I didn't feel pain instantly, just pressure

This happens to me when I step on a really, really hot surface.

Have you ever had a really deep cut and never actually felt pain?
