Since I have absolutely no idea what to do with that button, I'm going to talk to my dad tomorrow about it.
Why are you ignoring us when we're all saying to just unplug it and plug it back in???And you're blowing this out if proportion! It's not difficult to reset a router. It's unbelievable to me that there's almost two and a half goddamn pages about it.
Since I have absolutely no idea what to do with that button, I'm going to talk to my dad tomorrow about it.Does resetting the modem mean reset it to a factory state or some stuff? Sorry I haven't played with it.
Seriously, it's not that difficult. It doesn't take a genius to do it.Even though I disapprove a cold restarts, you can easily take out the power cord that plugs into the router/modem and plug it in again (unless it's hardwired into the modem in which you can't take it out)
Even then he can just unplug it from the outlet

The button won't factory reset it. It will restart itself.
So do I just push something into that hole?
Yes, your snake a toothpick would work.
Funny thing is I was actually about to do the whole snake thing but then I realized just how stupid and immature it is.
