Author Topic: A Portal Turret AI using Bot_holes  (Read 3347 times)

I think it would be pretty awesome for a portal turret AI. I know this has probably been requested before but it has never to my knowledge been completed.

The Bot_hole would be programmed with sounds, an invisible weapon(dual for both sides), and portal stuff.
The Bot would not be able to turn as it is in Portal.
The bots seems to have an infinite line of sight. As long as it has a clean line to you it can see you.
The bot would have low HP maybe about 20ish Im not sure.
Maybe if possible the red laser that comes out of its eye for where it is looking.

I'm not very good at asking for things but I would really appreciate it if someone could possibly do this

The bot attamepts to do what a normal Bot_Hole does
Paint
Wrench
Hammer
Guns
Spin(because disabled movement)

In Portal the turrets do not turn per say. They tilt a little but do not turn, being a tripod and all.
Plus It would be cool to have the sounds programed in. Think about it.

Use the Bot_Default mod. It does absolutely nothing unless you event it to.

I attempted but the Event_Bots does not function for the old bots. I had to get a new blockland recently so I dont have a working copy of the old bot events.
