Yeah, I guess so. It is always so fun to read about a story that was written back so long ago, and the views of people.
A book that's started wars.

I usually hate historical fiction, and non-fiction is way worse
but sometimes I like it, like that one book about the kid with the radio in national socialist germany

However, it's pretty badly written. The plot development is boring and it's really, really repetitive. Also, you're not supposed to kill off characters that you just introduced. I don't care how religious you are, the Bible is loving boring to read.

I don't really ever get around to reading books too often sadly :( I've been slowly working through Danny Wallace's books, I also need to get back into the  game of thrones books and I have the hunger games waiting.

Also, Deus ex book is really good,  More people need to read it, It includes all of the bosses in human revolution and gives them backstory.

I just don't see how anyone can find books about dragons and other mythical medieval junk cool.

what kind of books do you read

True. True.

All of this is what I am saying, the Bible is really what made me give up on my christian views on having to read one volume of it with my family.

New VS. poll.

I love those books though :(

I like a fiction book that's based within the past hundred and fifty years.

Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and The Dragon Codices are the only series of books ive actually enjoyed.

Also would light novels go in this thread to?

Loved Maximum Ride, currently into The Mortal Instruments, but with it being turned into a movie it will be another twilight type phase for people...

I can understand that kinda, cept I hate like medieval stuff (which isn't even in that time frame but still), it's so boring if it isn't fantasy
but like 1900s+ is cool

Alex Rider, Harry Potter, Calvin and Hobbes, and Zits are currently my favorite books ever.

<3 Read that a long time ago

Just finished Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe. I was tearing up at the end of it.
