Author Topic: Reventon Tower  (Read 1443 times)

Description
This tower has 50 floors. 40 of which have 4 condos on each level(yes, this is a condo-style tower), 1 is the lobby, 2 are restaurants, 6 are empty for either office spaces or full-floor condos, and 1 is the roof. The parking garage, conveniently located across the street, has 4 floors (1 below ground and 3 above ground). Each has probably around 14,500 studs2 in parking area.

*I am using this build for my application to AoB 2013

The parking garage. Try to name every single car you see and the model of each (Zenoz Cabrio). *No Zenoz is in the pic*

Shape of the tower. Also pictured is the roof, structure, thingy...

An example of a semi-filled room.

No elevators used in this tower (the two elevator add-ons refuses to work on my computer), stairs for all 50 floors!

The builder and owner (me) taking her rightful spot overlooking the Blockland landscape that reaches on for eternity.

Was this made using all standard bricks and no- add ons?

No, there are many brick add-ons and I have a ton of vehicle add-ons.

Ah ok. Well It's a very basic building that I would definitely use for anything from city RPGs to city TDMs. I like it's simplicity yet it looks like anything modern today. I would give is a 8/10 though. If it's an app for AoB, I would add more interior details. Good job.

I tried my best to do that...im not that good with interior design

It's ok I used to suck too. Just takes a bit of practice and imagination :cookieMonster:

K, thnks

6/10
it is good, but seems repetitive. the parking garage needs some  different colors, maybe an elevator or symmetrical staircases on each corner.

7/10 at best, very bland and non-innovative, but it beats the hell out of a big red spammy box. Use some variation in terrain at the base, add a lake, fast forward to the tower, add some giant support pillars every now-and-then, maybe make one giant pillar in the middle that everything is based around, make the walls 2 bricks thick: outer layer for the walls and inner layer for the interior.

Lots of room for improvement but overall likable.

I actually really like this. The problem is that it looks strangely tall with the parking garage next to it. If possible, you should try putting an underground parking garage. The building is a bit tall, too. But if you were making a city build it would look amazing surrounded by other buildings. Good job.

elevator for people or for cars?

Terrain: working on it, but this is modeled after a skyscraper in San Francisco, CA, that is surrounded by small little buildings...however I could add a pool or something... supports: there are 2 supports for each side of the curved edges and 1 for each square side, wall thickness: the glass is the exterior wall, the interrior wall has a 2 stud "cement" core and then 1 stud thick walls cover that.

Ill try the underground garage, there is one level below as of now but i totally agree you: looks too big. Thanks for the advice

how have none of you realized that skyscrapers are repetitive

I know that. That's what I stated :P It's simplicity is great and It's something that I would see in a real city.
