I feel another teenswag is cancer is starting

His brother is one year younger than him. 100-1=99.

fifty is a stupid answer. why would you even argue against it? it's obviously wrong
148 is acceptable bc of how he worded it

How even in the flying forget

My wife was 'tarded.
She's a pilot now.

I assume you know what I am referring to when I post

Also OAIGEHGVEWIN it IS 148. It's not just stupid people not understanding that you can't always be half of someone elses age

it says half of his age, not half of his age when he was 2. So it's saying his brother was half of 100, not half of 2

Well it could also be 99, but 148 is also a valid answer

Lol yes it does, it's in the first part of the sentence, it's just worded in reverse. The tenses of the riddle clarify everything fine. People are just stupid and over process things.

How even in the flying forget
1. he is 100
2. his brother was half his age when he was 2
3. so his brother was 50 (half of 100, which is his age) when he was 2
4. 98 years later (when the guy is 100), his brother is 148

the ignorance conveyed in this thread.

it IS 99.

if you can't see how 148 is also right then you're an idiot ok

if you can't see how 148 is also right then you're an idiot ok

Ya so dum lol thug lyf

if you can't see how 148 is also right then you're an idiot ok

It's 100% fact it's 99. You can only get 148 if you assume the riddle has incorrect tense which is a wild assumption to make. If someone asks me if 2+2=4 I wouldn't assume they meant 2-2=4 and tell them no.

HOW 148 AND 99 ARE BOTH RIGHT:
99:
The brother was half of his age when he was two. So, when he was two, his brother was 1. 98 years later, He's 100 and the brother is 99.

148:
The brother was half of his age when he was two. However, this could also mean half of his CURRENT age, 100. According to that, his brother was 50 when he was 2. 98 years later, he's 100 and his brother is 148.

Personally, I prefer the answer of 99.

I don't know how you can get
I don't
No

It says "when I was 2, my brother was half my age"
"At the time that I was two years old, my brother was half as old as I was"
during time premise, my age is double that of my brother
it just doesn't make sense to put the current time in that part, there is nothing to suggest it.
