Author Topic: is The War Z worth it  (Read 967 times)

i want to get it but it seems like such a waste of money with all the talk about hackers in it and all the glitches and bugs

is it worth it?

take it from me that i've played it for a while.

while yes it is fun there are alot of hackers and other problems with the game (dev's say something when they mean something else if you get what I mean).

Its cheaper in the long run to just get ARMA II: Combined Operations along with DayZ.

Not really since the DayZ standalone is supposed to come out in the near future.

have you ever played big rigs off the road racing? HAVE YOU?

No.
Wait for fall, when DayZ hits Arma 3
Was playing alpha last night, sweet nectar.

I enjoy playing it casually every now and then. It's not a game that I, or a lot of people, could really get into like they do for dayz. There are things you may like a lot and things you wont. I found a good private server that I can hop on whenever I feel like to just go kill zombies and whatever, free from hackers/annoying KoSers who just camp loot spots to boost their killcount. It's a pretty cheaply made game, but I find it quite fun as a game to just play when I feel like hacking away at some zombies.

Was it worth the $50 I preordered it for? Eh, maybe not $50 but definitely would have been more worth it if I had only paid $15/$30.
