I like minimum wage being at the federal level, but in my state it's way too high. Makes stuff like fast food really expensive.

no, it would reduce youth unemployment significantly because nobody wants to hire someone with no experience to do a job for $7.50 an hour when they can get someone older with job experience for the same amount
I don't think you realize how much that would effect people who are trying to start out, $7.50 an hour hardly feeds my dog.

kearn you're hilarious

the progressive movement for the past 100 years has either been trying to force religion (mainly protestant christianity from about 1910-1960) or phase it out (from the late 60's onward) and has been trying to take over the education system
says the republican
that's soooooooo hypocritical

$4.50? What the forget man, thats not worth stuff. I can make that working on a damn farm. And that really is to low to make a living on.

In my state I heard minimal wage is going up to 10 dollars. Glory to the proletariat!

Anyway Fredelus and Frankadelic are all bark and bite. No history or information, just name calling. Just kidding, they messing with you.

do you not understand that 4.50$ an hour is better than 0$ an hour

and what dummy would sit at minimum wage for their entire life, the point is to get an entry-level job and move up, why do you think almost everyone at fast-food restaurants is <35

You really have no understanding on how the world works. In a perfect world there would be nobody relying on a minimum wage job to feed their children. It still happens. So forget the kid right? Yeah that solves the problems for the future of America.

This gets on my nerves, all the entry level jobs are taken in my town by people who have been laid off. People like me have to pay for college in order to move on.

wow you'd sure think with foodstamps that they would be able to feed their kids? i guess that doesn't work woops

also uh why do you have kids when you're on minimum wage

They have kids, get laid off, end up on minimum wage.

Ok, you really have no understanding of the real world. You're telling me that you could raise a  family on 4.50 an hour and foodstamps? You could probably barely survive by yourself.

What do I expect though, I've seen you argue other points of view that were even worse than this. Such as saying the meat packing industry of the early 20th century was a perfectly fine thing and The Jungle just went and stirred up controversy for no reason.

Are you talking about mexicans?

Are you talking about mexicans?

It ain't white it ain't right! The decent white man doesn't have such trivial issues as food stamps or minimum wage.
